Introduction
Automatic self-cleaning filter housing, often referred to as a self-cleaning filter or automatic backwash filter, is a specialized industrial

These filter housings are designed to maintain consistent filtration performance over extended periods by periodically or continuously
cleaning the filter element or media.
Working Principle:
Inlet: Contaminated fluid (liquid or gas) enters the filter housing through an inlet port.
Filtration: The fluid flows through a filter element or media, which is designed to capture and retain particles and contaminants of
various sizes.
Accumulation of Contaminants: As the filter element captures contaminants, it begins to accumulate particles, which can lead
to reduced flow rates and decreased filtration efficiency over time.
Self-Cleaning Mechanism: Automatic self-cleaning filter housings are equipped with a self-cleaning mechanism or system. The
most common self-cleaning method is backwashing, where the flow of the fluid is temporarily reversed or slowed down to dislodge
and remove the accumulated contaminants from the filter element. Other self-cleaning methods may involve rotating brushes,
scraping mechanisms, or ultrasonic cleaning.
